Frequently Asked Questions
Most frequent questions and answers
Participants MAY NOT RUN THE COURSE MORE THAN ONE TIME UNLESS THEY REGISTER TWICE. For example, a participant may run in both an individual and team wave as long as they have paid for each registration. Participants will only be timed in the wave(s) that they start in.
Our policy is that we do not allow refunds, except in the case of military deployments.
There’s no time limit. We want all participants to finish the course in a time that is safe and comfortable to them!
It is a challenge but it is also constructed to be safe for all ages of the participants and the skill level of those participants (some of our younger participants will need assistance, however). You might find some obstacles challenging and others a piece of cake. Just for Fun Waves may skip obstacles without paying the burpee penalty.
We encourage parents to run in the Just for Fun non-competitive wave with their kids, if desired. Adults/parents must be registered to run with their child. EVERY RUNNER MUST BE REGISTERED. If your child desires to run the course alone, they may run in any wave.
**Please Note: 12 & Under may race in any wave but runners are NOT eligible for awards in the “Just For Fun” waves.
We suggest keeping your items somewhere where you know it will be safe, as we will not have a bag check at the event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. ASCO Spartacus Dash recommends locking vehicles at the event and does not recommend leaving property (especially valuables) in cars. WE WILL HAVE A KEY DROP. PLEASE VISIT THE KEY DROP TENT. ALL ITEMS MUST FIT IN THE QUART SIZED ZIPLOCK BAG PROVIDED AT THE KEY DROP TENT.
